The Ring Box Privacy Policy
This policy covers the iPhone app The Ring Box, made by M77 Apps ("we", "us"). The short version: we don't collect personal information, and the app never connects to the internet.
- No accounts, sign-ups or logins.
- No ads, no analytics SDKs, no tracking across apps or websites.
- No network connections. Everything stays on your iPhone.
What stays on your device
The ring design and the optional inscription you enter are saved only on your device. The app reads the phone's motion sensors in real time for visual effects and does not store or send that data. It does not use the microphone, camera, photos, contacts or location.
Sharing the preview video
On iPhones without a hinge, you can share a preview video using the iOS share sheet. The video is bundled with the app and contains nothing about you. Where it goes is up to you and the app you share it with.
Information Apple provides to us
Apple gives developers aggregated App Store statistics, such as download counts and sales, and crash reports from people who have chosen to share them with developers in their iPhone settings. This information does not identify you to us. Apple's own handling of your data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
Children
Ring Box is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.
Selling or sharing data
We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. This applies to residents of every region, including California and the European Union.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your device.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. If Ring Box ever starts collecting personal information, we will update this policy and its App Store privacy details before that version is released.
